Oh, my, where I have I been!?!?!?!

Well, we all have been busy over here at the 6weeks household.....I am back in school and that required me to take summer classes, something I hope to avoid next year.  but, here goes a quick run down of our happenings.....

Kami had her ballet performance

Graduated for Pre-K

 Kade had Basketball camp down at OSU

 Where he was camper of the day

 Robert and I took off for Vegas

 Played with the dolphins

 Hung out with some celebrities

 Headed to the beach

 Took Kayla to see Katy Perry

 Celebrated the fourth

 Auntie Jen came for a visit

 Kade turned 8

 Kayla just looks older

 We went to the cabin and hiking

 And ended the summer at the beach.

When did this happen.....

She is 12, only 12, but, WOW, she looks 16, when did this happen, how did she grow-up so fast, crazy!

6weeks has a stalker......

So, the first signs were foot prints and strange sounds, then, to my surprise I caught our stalker looking in the dinning room window while hanging off the roof!
I ran out to capture him on film!



So, it seems he is friendly little guy and the kids love him, I broke down and bought food and am planning on taking him (or her, I have not checked) to the vet this week to make sure he's not sick. But, it looks like we have been adopted by our stalker.

Back Button Focus......

I have heard about back button focus for awhile, but always thought it wouldn't make a difference....BOY was I WONG! time for a 6weeks major catch up........

WOW, I can't believe it's been almost two months since I posted! Well, here is a whirlwind catch-up......





Kade is playing baseball and knockin' it out of the park along with his teammates.

The girls have been enjoying the nice weather, when it shows up!

We (Kami and I) spend every Friday here.....

The kids dressed in their Easter Best and colored eggs, not in that order!

And Kayla turned Twelve......WOW!

Our day trip to Astoria....

On our way we stopped at Camp 18, Kade snapped this pic of the little girls and I, good job, I must say!

As soon as we got there I saw this magnificent old house, I ran across the street to take photos, I. was. in. love!

But, then I was informed that the owner (now deceased) once ran out of the house and stabbed a jogger that was passing by!

So, on to Dani's Party, I haven't edited much, but I loved this one of Robert and Kami!

And this one of the little cousins, ages 3, 4, and 5!

Before we headed home we swung by the Astoria Column.

The big "A" word had been spoken and I am not talking donkey

Last Thursday I received a phone call, it was not unexpected, but, not looked forward to either. It was the first time Autism was spoken to me in reference to my daughter, Kami has always been quirky, just a bit off, and it has been showing up more as her social skills, or lack there of, developed. After I hung up I really wanted to brake down and cry, then I wanted to cure her, then I was scared, worried and concerned about her future, and this was all in the first five minutes. But, then I decided to pack up the girls and head to the gym, I put the treadmill on a incline of seven and climbed, climbed and climbed, I have a feeling it's going to be a up-hill battle for us and practice makes perfect!
