Thankful

Today, I am thankful....I have my true love, four beautiful children, a roof over my head, food in the fridge. Today I am thankful, for in a world where there is happiness there must also be sadness, where there is good we also must have evil.

In this world we live there is health and there is sickness, we also have life so we must also have death. Today, I am thankful for the green pastures I lie in.....and pray that you also are laying in green pastures.

I got it, I got it!

You have to understand how hard it is to get a picture of Kami, it's next to impossible to get her to:

1. Look at the camera

2. Stand still long enough for the shutter to click

3. Smile a non-cheesy smile

4. I will say it again...look at the camera

But, yesterday she DID! Made my day!

It was the 12th again!

Look up...

I find myself looking up more and more.......

The sky is so vast and ever changing, I remember back as a child laying is the cool green grass and watching the clouds blow by. One could be a pig, a baseball bat, a hat, or just look like the mean teacher you had in the 2nd grade. But, now I look up to see the beauty in the vast sky, how the sunlight glistens off the clouds, how the rain heavy clouds look intensely ink blue, or how if you look hard enough you can even find a new moon at noon.

I stumbled on to this blog awhile ago, mostly because of her GREAT photography! But, I got an awesome surprise when she staked out the set of New Moon in Vancouver, BC. She has gotten some great shots, even seen out best boy Rob out at some clubs, but she recently saw the "Movie Theater" scene...you can check it out here..
